Casa Bacardí - Educational
Program Educational Program Join us at Casa Bacardí where we explore Cuba highlighting its extensive history, art, and music. The one-hour tour features a short history film, a walk through of current art exhibitions, and two interactive sessions in our computerized music pavilion and information center. Tours are offered for elementary, middle and high school students. Presentations can be tailored to meet individual needs according to curriculum goals and age of students.

At the Music Pavilion, over 2,000 digital music selections are available for students to choose from. Students are also given a class on typical Cuban musical instruments and the opportunity to experiment and play these instruments. At the Cuban Information Center, students can access information on Cuba and explore Cuba On-Line, a database of information.
Several computerized “Cuba Quizzes” are presented to test students' knowledge on the lectures given, and on an interactive PowerPoint presentation. A brief historical Cuba movie (20 min.) is also shown.
Guided gallery tours of Casa Bacardí exhibitions expose students to all aspects of Cuban art.
